Get Your Sweet On This Valentine’s Day: SWEETS + ART + MUSIC

Bringing together the local artistic community in this one-of-a-kind Charity Bake Sale + Art Exhibition to benefit The Chicago Urban Art Society (CUAS) and Friends.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to support the following organizations:

HIGH JUMP equalizes access to education for middle school students who have exhibited academic ambition and potential and who are of limited economic means.  We provide academic enrichment, counseling and support to students of diverse backgrounds, with the goal of sending our participants to superior college preparatory schools, ensuring their success while they are there, and enhancing their ability to gain admission to highly regarded four-year colleges and universities.

Urban Gateways created the New Arts Forum (NAF) to engage young professionals in the work of Urban Gateways. The Forum’s mission is to promote and support Urban Gateways’ efforts to provide arts education programs to all children despite race or economic class.

The Chicago Public Art Group (CPAG) mission is to unite artists and communities in partnership to produce quality public art and to extend and transform the tradition of collaborative, community involved, public artwork.

The Chicago Art Department (CAD) aims to benefit artists by exploring art and learning. Through exhibitions, artist residencies, classes/workshops, and community building, we are dedicated to cultivating new voices, ideas, and practices in contemporary art.
